INSTRUCTION – Undoubtedly THE BEST! Our instructors personally teach your group how to have the safest Bryson City NC White Water Rafting Trip and the most fun. In a beautiful wooded instruction area, along side the river, the instructors teach raft handling and crew coordinating to help you understand how to make the raft easier to control. They use a painted picture of the river while describing the best routes to take through the most difficult rapids on your NC Whitewater Rafting Trip. And of course, they answer all of your questions. Our unique location, directly on the Nantahala River, allows us to be the ONLY outfitter that is able to offer Pre-Falls Instruction just moments before you run the Falls so it is fresh in your mind giving you the best chance of running it successfully. This has proven to be very helpful in facilitating a safer and more enjoyable run down the most challenging stretch. This also allows us to set a pickup time, eliminating any long waits at the take out for Whitewater Rafting in NC. We are there waiting on you rather than you there waiting on us. When stopping at our outpost, this also gives you the chance for a snack break, bathroom break or just a moment to gather your group before continuing down river! Some groups even picnic here at the outpost during this stop making it even more of a fun day! (peak Saturdays must be pre-approved to stop & picnic due to high volume).

8.5 Mile FULL RIVER Trip: After we personally fit you into your life jacket and give you full instruction, we shuttle you to the top of the river (a short 7 mile ride) and put you in at the Nantahala Power Plant put-in. On your way down the river, you’ll stop in at our conveniently located Riverside Outpost for your “Falls” instruction then back on the river you go for the grand finale of your trip – Nantahala Wesser Falls. This is also the rapid where we take pictures of your group. We then shuttle you from the take-out back to our Outpost (only minutes away from the take-out) where your dry, warm clothes await you. Your pictures are then displayed at our outpost store on our wide screen TV for the whole group to enjoy and relive the fun! They can also be purchased at this time for you to take home with you! Our riverside picnic area and children's playground allow you to sit by the river and enjoy a picnic lunch, BBQ or Pizza before or after your trip. Total trip time approximately 3 hours out of your day. Total water time is about 2 - 2.5 hours. Our river front location allows you or any member of your group to take out at our outpost eliminating the "Falls" while the rest of the group goes on down the river to enjoy that last rapid.

We also offer a 7 mile trip with all of the same services to your group but instead of running the "Falls" rapid, your entire group takes out at our Riverside Outpost.

The last of our trip options is the 4 mile trip. Again, you receive all of the same customer service but instead of going up river 7 miles we shuttle you up river 4 miles and put you in at Ferebee Park. You then take out at our riverside outpost also eliminating the "Falls" rapid. This 4 mile option is great if you only want to do Class II's on the river (avoiding both Class III's) or are limited on time.

Traditional Rafts: Also known as “Bucket Boats”, have a carrying capacity of 5-6 people maximum. Your group does the bailing of the water in these rafts, but a lot of groups find that to be a fun part of the rafting experience.

Self-Bailing Rafts: These rafts have inflated floors that do the bailing for you (no dumping after each rapid). They have a carrying capacity of 2-9 people. An additional $2/person.

Pumas & Super Pumas: Some of our hottest handling self-bailing rafts with streamlined shape for 2 to 6 rafters.

Funyaks/Duckies: 1 or 2 man inflatable self-bailing kayaks. Hi-Performance models also available! Really Responsive!

Sit-on-top Kayaks: Made of hard plastic, paddler sits on top instead of down inside. A great and challenging introduction to kayaking. We have Perception Torrents & Yahoos.

Soar Inflatable Canoes: 1 or 2 man inflatable self-bailing canoes. Handles much like a traditional hard canoe.

Lake Canoes: 1, 2 or 3 man canoes for lake use only.

“ CUTE LITTLE SOUVENIR SHOP” – Offering souvenir photos, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, swim shorts, sunglasses, coffee mugs, koozies, stickers, various souvenirs, water proof cameras, sunglass/eyeglass holders, snacks, drinks, or any last minute items you may have forgotten. Come & see the tree growing right in the middle of the store!

PLAYGROUND - We have a beautiful fenced in playground that is here for the enjoyment of our guests that have rafted with us or are waiting on their white-water warriors to get off of the river. It is located directly on the Nantahala River next to our BBQ grills and picnic area for your convenience.
